Research defining variables and wanting guidance

Greetings again! I not sure in what specific direction to go at this time. I know that some of you have responded to my last post. First, I am focusing on both Constructivism and Instructivism (Behavioralism as some refer to it in the articles and books.) For the constructivist assessments there are many different forms and I believe that I will focus on the idea of a final rubric to evaluate each product and possibly the process the students are going through during the learning. Still working on the rubric configuration.

Don't forget the fact that at least some constructivists suggest that the assessment of the students should be negotiated between teacher/facilitator and student. It could be at least slightly different for each student.

Assessment is an important (and sometimes neglected) issue. Not only do you have the traditional problems of reliability and validity but there are also newer ones as well. In any case it seems clear that assessment can drive both how you might teach and how students are likely to try to learn. Plus, there's the fact that the assessment itself can be a learning experience.
